Academic program IGS

Through the IGS academic program, Sunshine Village Academy hopes to build a solid foundation for Vietnamese students to reach out to the world right from elementary school age. The program is evaluated and accredited by Cognia (AdvancED) and SACS CASI (Regional School Assessment and Improvement Council). “Cognia – formerly AdvancED – is a leading International Accreditation Organization in the world, with a 125-year history. Cognia is trusted by the U.S. Department of Education to provide accreditation to high schools throughout the U.S. Education System.” The curriculum is developed by the world’s leading experts according to the American Common Core Standards (being applied by 45 states). Combined with a team of experienced pedagogical teachers teaching with advanced, unique and highly effective methods. Teaching method: 100% in English with native teachers, active learning method, combining practice & group activities.

High school program Penn Foster

Penn Foster High School was founded in 1890 at its headquarters in Scranton, Philadelphia (USA). It is one of the oldest and largest online academies in the world, nationally accredited in the United States by the Distance Education Accreditation Commission (DEAC) and Cognia. In addition, the school is accredited by the Commission on Secondary Schools of the American Association of Colleges and Schools (CSS-MSA).
