To families who believe that education can—and should—be different.

Vietnam does not lack talent. What we lack is direction.

For decades, we have built generations of students who know how to pass examinations, yet are rarely equipped to answer the most important questions: Who am I, and where am I going?

​

The consequences are visible everywhere. University graduates struggle to articulate what they have truly learned. Working professionals find themselves trapped in careers they never genuinely chose. A country rich in talent is filled with people whose abilities remain underutilized—not because the world lacks opportunities, but because too few have been given the guidance to recognize where those opportunities lie.

Sunshine Village Academy (SVA) was founded on a simple conviction: A child who understands who they are will always be able to find their own path.

We begin the work of educational and career guidance as early as Grade 6. But to be truly ready for Grade 6, a child must be intentionally nurtured from Grade 1.

​

From the earliest years of their education, SVA students develop a strong foundation in English, independent thinking, structured reasoning, and creative problem-solving. These are not taught as isolated academic skills, but cultivated as fundamental ways of thinking and engaging with the world.

​

We develop character alongside intellect. We cultivate a worldview alongside knowledge.

This approach has become especially imperative in the age of Artificial Intelligence.

AI will not replace children who know how to think. It will replace those who have never been taught how to think.

​

Our students are nurtured to understand a fundamental truth: AI is a tool—and it is their tool. It is a powerful means of extending their capabilities, not a force to which they must become subordinate.

​

The leaders of tomorrow will not necessarily be those who use AI the fastest. They will be those who can identify the right problems, think critically and deeply, exercise sound judgment, and make wise decisions—capacities that no algorithm can fully replace.

At SVA, students do more than learn each year. They are challenged. They fail. They discover. They experiment.

They are guided—not toward a destination chosen for them, but toward a destination that is authentically their own.

​

By the time they graduate, our students carry far more than a transcript. They carry a clear understanding of who they are, a record of achievement demonstrated through real-world experience, and a purposeful pathway toward leading universities around the world—through scholarships, through demonstrated ability, and, most importantly, through the strength of their own identity and potential.

This is not ambition. This is responsibility.

The future of Vietnam will not be built by those who have been taught what to think, but by those who have been taught how to think.
